DAVID SHAHEEN is the General Counsel of 1-800-PublicRelations, Inc. David has decades of experience guiding founders and growth companies from start-up and private funding through SEC registration or acquisition/merger. David's legal experience, including his practice as of counsel to New York based Hunter Taubman Fischer LLC, covers a wide range of business and securities matters, SEC registrations and compliance, private financing transactions, new venture development, mergers and acquisitions and counseling to founders, directors and officers regarding corporate operations and development. David chaired the Corporate Law Committee of the Bar Association of DC for five years and is a published author and a frequent lecturer on the structure, finance and operation of business ventures. He was a law and business commentator with a long-running weekly segment on Clear Channel’s business talk radio show "The Trader’s Network," serves as Director of M&A with BrightPoint Advisors and acts as editor of the blog GoingPublicLawyer.com.
